2021 NCLHIA Education Conference
May 14 & 15, 2021
Charlotte, NC

For Additional Information Contact:

Robert Wilson,
NCLHIA Executive Director

Due to circumstances brought on by the COVID pandemic and ever-changing national, state, and local mandates, the originally scheduled North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector Association (NCLHIA) 25th annual education conference has gone through several changes as well.

Our education conference this year will be held in person on Friday/Saturday, May 14 – 15, 2021 in Charlotte. While we hope that the state rollout of COVID vaccinations will allow fellow inspectors to feel comfortable meeting in person once again, an optional simulcast webinar-style alternative is
also being pursued. More on that later.

This year’s program will include (pending final licensure board approval):

Friday, May 14

  • Understanding Grounding and Bonding of Electrical Systems (Scott Peele)

  • Deck Inspections (John Bouldin)

  • Inspecting Trusses (John Bouldin)

Saturday, May 15

  • NCLHIB Mandatory Course - Water Heaters (Dave Hahn)

  • Seven things to do when you receive a complaint from a disgruntled client (Carrie Joubert-Lawson)

For those home inspectors that are also licensed general contractors, we are also pursuing an option for you to simultaneously obtain the eight (8) continuing education credits required by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (NCLBGC). There will be a nominal additional fee added at registration.

Registration details will be forthcoming. Please check our new and improved user-friendly website at www.NCLHIA.com for the latest and most up to date information. If you have any questions please call the association line, 919-861-4549, or send an email through the Contact link on our website.

We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing you in May.

Robert Wilson,
NCLHIA Executive Director
